First of all, Brian came home today!!! Yea!!! Automatically, that makes today a wonderful day!
The kids helped me do a few things around the house that we (I) wanted done before Brian came home. After we were done, we just sat around waiting, waiting, and waiting. Finally about 2:30, the moment finally came. I know it sounds over dramatic, and probably is, but I can not help it. It was wonderful seeing the love of my life after being away for two weeks. Especially when he missed our 11 year anniversary.
Needless to say, the kids were so excited to see their Dad, and so was our dog Bentley. Bentley gets so sad when Brian goes away. When he comes home from trips, Bentley follows Brian around, it is really cute. It is like he doesn't want him to leave his sight.
After relaxing a bit, my wonderful husband decided to work in the yard. Without being asked! When did I get so lucky? He pulled weeds and trimmed back the trees and the bushes in the yard. It was really nice, although, I think the trees look small again, but totally understand why they needed the trim that they got.
This evening, as bedtime loomed closer, both of the kids started not feeling well. They were complaining of headaches and stomachaches :( We have a fun day planned tomorrow, so I hope they are all better when they wake up. Well, I am feeling tired myself, so I am going to sign off for now!
We are a God-loving family, and life for us is wonderful! We love to stay busy with our children, read the bible, and just spend time as a family. Even though life for us can get chaotic, we would not change it for anything!
