Today was a fabulous day for us! I took the kids to the local water park to spend the day with friends of ours. We have gone to other water parks, but not for a long time, and not to this particular park.
We arrived when the park opened, and got a wonderful parking space! It was a great way to start the day! By the time we got in and settled, our friends were starting to arrive. Over all, there was four of us Moms with our children.
Some of the things we did was the wave pool (several times), the lazy river, the little kid area, the rope swing, a lily pond hop thing (do not know what the real name was), and of course, we went on water slides! It was so fun!
The kids had a blast and so did I! Prince and I got a little bit sunburnt, but fortunately, not too bad. I was pretty strict about using sunscreen multiple times throughout the day. Prince and I both are pretty fair, with him more so than me, and sunscreen at a water park is a must. Luckily for Princess, she has very nice, naturally dark olive skin and does not easily burn.
On the way home, Prince informed me that today was "the greatest day ever!" I would have to agree with his sentiment!
We are a God-loving family, and life for us is wonderful! We love to stay busy with our children, read the bible, and just spend time as a family. Even though life for us can get chaotic, we would not change it for anything!
