Today was a pretty good day over all. The kids slept in while I mowed the lawn (again). (Really wish Brian would get home soon so I do not have to mow the lawn anymore, I HATE doing it!!!) After doing the yard work, the three of us just hung out around the house for a couple hours.
This afternoon, we all went to the movies and saw the movie Epic. It was better than I expected, although I think I liked it better than the kids. I laughed quite a bit, but most of the kids in the room did not get all the humor. Maybe they are too young to understand ;) After the movies, we came home and just hung out again around the house.
It was a pretty relaxing day, but I can tell the kids are getting ansy for Dad to get home. Both kids were wanting to know how many more days before he was home. I have been trying to do fun activities everyday so the time passed faster. Come on, five more days! We can do this!
We are a God-loving family, and life for us is wonderful! We love to stay busy with our children, read the bible, and just spend time as a family. Even though life for us can get chaotic, we would not change it for anything!
